Ask him what he does for a living and he’ll tell you he cuts wood and nails it on the wall. A modest answer that makes his longtime clients and customers roll their eyes. They have a slightly different description for the interior finishing work that owner Mike Vigelius and the team from Sumas Mountain Projects have become known for over the years.

 

Mike started SMP in 2006 after a decade working in various construction and carpentry jobs. With his tool belt and table saw loaded into his 1981 Datsun, he set out to build some new relationships... and a new business. Today, the SMP team consists of some of the most highly skilled craftsmen in the interior finishing business.
